Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
I believe that our most intimate relationships profoundly affect how we feel—even our sense of self. When we struggle with disconnection and misunderstanding, it is hard to get back to each other.
I practice an attachment-based approach rooted in Imago Relationship Therapy to help individuals and couples unpack the repetitive patterns keeping them stuck. Often, the moments that make us the most upset are rooted in past hurts that have built up over time. As the old adage goes, what makes us hysterical is historical. Uncovering the true source of these reactions can spark a fresh perspective on your closest, most important relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I want therapy to feel comfortable and real; you can express what you're actually thinking and feeling without worrying about "saying the wrong thing" or receiving unfair scrutiny. I don't take sides, assign blame, or look for who is "right"—my focus is making sure you both feel genuinely heard. We'll work together to make sense of what's going on and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Outside of therapy, I love traveling, spending time with friends, going to the beach, sailing, and strength training.
